Virtualization of learning and teaching delivers a multitude of chances due
to freedom of locality and time, increasing quality higher efficiency (via
multiple usage of courses and modules). WINFOLine runs successfully since
three years. It offers virtual learningworlds in the field of information s
ystems and contains the necessary contents as well as services for educatio
n. WINFOLine is described as an inter-university cooperation system, that i
s integrated within the curriculums of the participating universities. The
success factors of the WINFOLine implementation are outlined.
