Abstract
Artificial glycolipids composed from phosphatidylethanolamine and one or two sets of sialy1 alpha(2-8)sialoside were designed and prepared a s mimetics of b-series gangliosides, GD(3) and GQ(1b), which have resp ectively cholinergic differentiation potency in murine neuroblastoma c ells and neutritogenic effect in human neuroblastoma cell line.
