Abstract
The treatment of several beta-digitoxosides with hydrogen in the prese nce of a catalytic amount of Raney-Ni (W4) in MeOH at 50 degrees C und er neutral conditions afforded the C-3 epimers, beta-olivosides, in go od yields.
