Abstract
Bacterial endocarditis is rare in the dog, particularly in the young d og. This paper reports a case of bacterial endocarditis of the aortic valve, together with a patent ductus arteriosus and a third degree atr io-ventricular block, in a 18-month-old German Shepherd.
