Abstract
The frequency behavior of the generalized diffusion coefficient in bot h the metallic and insulating regions has been studied numerically wit hin the self-consistent localization theory extended to include electr on-electron interaction. The behavior of single-particle density of st ates near the metal-insulator transition is considered. The single-par ticle density of states is calculated taking into account the effect o f electron-electron interaction on the generalized diffusion coefficie nt. (C) 1997 American Institute of Physics.
