Abstract
A setup for the measurement of the wavelength and linewidth of pulsed and continuous optical emission is described. The position of the cent er of a spectral line is determined with an accuracy of +/-0.008 Angst rom. The setup is based on a Fabry-Perot interferometer, a spectromete r, and two charge-coupled devices.
