Abstract
The synthesis of homochiral functionalized cyclohexylglycines and alpha -me thylcyclohexylglycines via chelated Kazmaier-Claisen rearrangement is descr ibed. These were shown to be potent scaffolds for the development of MMP in hibitors. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
