Cherry angiomas are the most common vascular proliferation; however, little
is known about the pathogenesis and etiology of these lesions. We present
two laboratory technicians who were exposed to brominated compounds for pro
longed periods and who developed multiple cherry angiomas on the trunk and
extremities. We suggest that the association between exposure to bromides a
nd cherry angiomas should be investigated by a controlled study. Copyright
