Abstract
A micromagnetic model of longitudinal recording media has been used to inve stigate rotational magnetization effects. The model indicates that rotation al magnetization processes are very sensitive to microstructure and that re versal can be achieved with rotating fields of magnitude significantly lowe r than the major loop coercivity.
