Abstract
It is well known that reducing the inductance of the HGA is useful to impro ve recording properties at a high frequency, We reduce the inductance of sl ider on the HGA by using a short yoke length writer made of only NiFe, The writer with narrow track width of 0.50 mum recorded at 350 MHz and 372 kfci .
