Abstract
An investigation of the in-plane uniaxial anisotropy Ku, performed on amorp hous Co95-xZr5Dx thin films, are reported. We have studied the effect of th e deposition temperature T-d on K-u fur the concentration range 4 less than or equal to x less than or equal to 30. The structural study allows us to explain the maximum value of K-u obtained for x similar to 25. The correlat ion of the structural and magnetic properties permits us to propose a model for the opposite variations of K-u and K-p (perpendicular anisotropy) vers us T-d.
