Abstract
Overall transmission characteristics of a microstrip line with an obliquely magnetized YIG-GGG thin film substrate including both the quasi-TEM and th e MSW modes are investigated by using the finite-difference time-domain (FD TD) method solving the equation of motion of the magnetization vector simul taneously with the Maxwell's equations in consistency. Nonreciprocal transm ission characteristics of a microstrip line with an obliquely magnetized YI G-GGG film substrate normalized by fifty ohm are directly calculated by the FDTD method. The results are agreeable to the experimental results.
