Abstract
A series-parallel resonant DC/DC converter topology has been realized by pr operly considering all the inductances associated with an inductor-transfor mer. Thus the converter requires only an additional capacitor. Again for ha lf-bridge topology the capacitors used for input voltage splitting, may als o be used as the resonating capacitor. Details of the inductor-transformer design and performance of the converter have been discussed along with the optimization aspects. A controller is also fabricated and the converter is found to control output voltage with very small change in operating frequen cy. The topology is very promising particularly in small power applications .
