Abstract
Cyclic voltammetry was used to determine the hydrogen diffusion coefficient in metal hydride electrodes with the alloy composition of MlNi(3.65)Co(0.7 5)Mn(0.4)Al(0.2) (Ml=misch metal). It was found that the hydrogen diffusion coefficient increases with increasing depth of discharge (DOD) of the elec trode. The probable reason for the DOD dependence of the hydrogen diffusion coefficient is also discussed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights r eserved.
