Abstract
A case of chronic scalp wound infection due to Rhodococcus equi in an immun ocompetent individual following heavily contaminated traumatic injury was s uccessfully treated by combining antibiotics and surgery, The agents used w ere erythromycin and rifampicin. (C) 2001 The British Infection Society.
