The decay of Ru-95 has been investigated by means of gamma -ray spectroscop
y.. The Ru-95 nuclei were produced by the reaction Mo-92(alpha ,n)Ru-95 at
the beam energy of 17 MeV. High-purity Ge detectors have been used singly a
nd in coincidence to study gamma -rays In the decay uf Ru-95 to Tc-95. 132
gamma -rays are reported. among them, energies and intensities Fur 127 tran
sitions have been determined. A decay scheme of Ru-95 with 31 levels is pro
posed which accommodates 127 of these transitions. Spins and parities for t
hree new levels are proposed from calculated logft values. measured gamma -
ray branching ratios. and in-beam experiment results of the daughter nucleu
s Tc-95.
