S. Kaminaka et al., Near-infrared Raman spectroscopy of human lung tissues: possibility of molecular-level cancer diagnosis, J RAMAN SP, 32(2), 2001, pp. 139-141
A dispersive near-infrared Raman spectrometer was constructed using a photo
multiplier with a new InP/InGaAsP photocathode which is well suited for 106
4 nm excitation. Totally fluorescence-free Raman spectra of normal and canc
erous human lung tissues were obtained. The future possibility of Raman spe
ctroscopic cancer diagnosis is discussed. Copyright (C) 2001 John Wiley & S
