Abstract
The ray-tracing technique does not take into account the effects of the inn er structure of walls for indoor propagation prediction. A numerical approa ch to consider this problem using the FDTD method is preserved. Numerical r esults of the path loss calculated by the FDTD method are compared to those obtained by the ray-tracing technique. (C) 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
