Abstract
A new design for the compact single-feed dual-frequency operation of a slot ted square microstrip antenna is demonstrated. The antenna generates two di stinct operating frequencies with different polarization planes and broad r adiation characteristics. The antenna has the added advantage of an antenna size reduction as large as similar to 61 and 45% in comparison to the stan dard rectangular patch for the above two frequencies.
