A Monte Carlo simulation of a nematic Lebwohl-Lasher liquid crystal model w
ith a certain percentage of randomly oriented frozen spins is presented. Th
e site-site distance dependence of the nematic correlation functions obtain
ed are generally well fitted by stretched exponentials, which evolve into s
imple exponential at low temperature. The dependence of the correlation len
gth on the disorder density is presented and compared to corresponding expe
rimental results.
