Abstract
This is a review of those clinical observations, innovative concepts, and p redictions concerning inflammatory bowel disease that were first published in The Journal of the Mount Sinai Hospital, renamed in 1970 The Mount Sinai Journal of Medicine. The review was based on a hand search of every volume of The Journal from its inception in 1934 to the present day.
