Abstract
Most recent calculations of quarkonium production are based on the NRQCD fa ctorization formalism. This formalism is reviewed. To make predictions abou t specific cross section, universal NRQCD matrix elements need to be extrac ted from experiments. Extractions from different experimental situations ar e compared, with some emphasis on the extraction from LEP.
