Abstract
A QCD picture of cumulative phenomena is presented. The difference in the s lope of the x-dependence between the structure functions and particle produ ction rate at x > 1 is explained. Reasonable agreement with the experimenta l data is obtained for cumulative structure functions and pion production. Production of protons proceeds via quark coalescence, which is presently un der study.
