Occupation probabilities for primary-secondary-primary cell strings and cor
relation functions for primary sites of a decorated lattice model are expre
ssed through the well-studied partition function and correlation functions
of the Ising model. The results are analogous to those found in related lat
tice models of hydrophobic interactions and are interpreted in similar term
