Abstract
Radiative effects are considered for an electron moving in a medium in the presence of an external electromagnetic field. Anomalous magnetic moment (A MM) of the electron in alpha -order is calculated under these conditions in the form of two-dimensional integral. Behavior of AMM of high energy elect ron under influence of multiple scattering in a medium is analyzed. Both me ntioned effects lead to reduction of AMM. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
