Abstract
Hydroboration polymerization between diene monomers and 2,4,6-triisopropylp henylborane (tripylborane) gave organoboron main-chain polymers. The polyme rization was carried out by adding a diene monomer to a THF solution of tri pylborane at room temperature under nitrogen. The obtained polymers were fo und to be more stable compared with the polymers prepared from thexylborane or mesitylborane.
