Abstract
Two Soluble Organic Fractions (SOF) containing PAH, saturated and olephinic hydrocarbons were obtained with a Diesel research engine. Both fractions w ere analysed by coupling HPLC/GC. The results of the analyses were compared with the chromatograms of the gasoil used in the engine. This method avoid s pre-separation and purification steps and can be used to analyse the engi nes particle extract. It allows reducing analysis time and easing the sampl e preparation.
