Liquid dispersion in packed columns. Dynamic model for a pilot absorber

The aim of this work is to present a model for the liquid flow in a packed pilot column (Berl saddless), in order to know its hydrodynamic behaviour. Referring to the residence tine distribution hi the studied case, the plug flow with axial dispersion and wall plug flow model has proved to be superi or to the axial dispersion model. The correlation equations proposed for th e model parameters are similar with those found in the literature. For the aisle variation of the feed flow, the wall flow has been found consult.
