Abstract
'Driver' is a new early to mid-season potato (Solanum tuberosum L.) cu ltivar developed mainly for the fresh market. Tubers are round-oval in shape and have white flesh. 'Driver' has moderate resistance to the c ream potato cyst nematode (Globodera pallida). It also has moderate re sistance to powdery scab (Spongospora subterranea) and to bacterial so ft rot (Erwinia sp.).
