Abstract
Radiation emission induced in sodium vapour by pulsed laser light tune d to 3S --> 4P transition was investigated. Using spectral and tempora l analysis, contributions of different mechanisms such as amplified sp ontaneous emission, stimulated Raman scattering or four-wave mixing we re determined.
