Abstract
A general method for the convergent assembly of polyether structures has be en developed based on a Ni-II/Cr-II-mediated cross-coupling reaction of alk enyl iodides with aldehydes. The present method allowed coupling to oxane r ings via acetal cyclization and reductive etherification reactions.
