Abstract
Self-supporting sheets of cuprous oxide were fabricated by thermally oxidiz ing (Cu --> CuO) copper foils and deoxidizing (CuO --> Cu2O) in a chamber f illed with O-2 gas with focused infrared light irradiation. This method pro ved to be good for preparing cuprous oxide sheets with high purity and low resistivity. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
