Abstract
In order to examine the patterns of use of functional testing after coronar y artery bypass grafting (CABG), we surveyed 84 cardiologists-all directors of cardiology or nuclear cardiology divisions-practicing in hospitals with cardiac catheterization laboratories in Canada and the United States. We f ound that wide variation exists in the use of functional testing after CABG , with Canadians being more likely to employ a routine testing strategy tha n Americans.
