Abstract
Nanotubes and nanowires of CdSe and CdS have been obtained from solutions c ontaining a surfactant such as Triton 100-X. They have been characterized b y x-ray diffraction, electron microscopy, and optical spectroscopy. (C) 200 1 American Institute of Physics.
