Abstract
This paper overviews the current status of neuroimaging in neuropsychologic al outcome in traumatic brain injury (TBI). The pathophysiology of TBI is r eviewed and integrated with expected neuroimaging and neuropsychological fi ndings. The integration of clinical and quantitative magnetic resonance (QM R) imaging is the main topic of review, but these findings are integrated w ith single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) and magnetoencephalo graphy (MEG). Various clinical caveats are offered for the clinician. (C) 2 001 National Academy of Neuropsychology. published by Elsevier Science Ltd.
