We report an infant with ectopic atrial tachycardia, due to an aneurysm of
the right atrial appendage, who developed congestive heart failure. Althoug
h catheter ablation was transiently successful, tachycardia recurred 2 days
later. The aneurysm of the right atrial appendage was resected successfull
y by surgery, and thereafter she did well, reverting to normal sinus rhythm
