Ri. Aviv et al., Angiomatosis of bone and soft tissue: A spectrum of disease from diffuse lymphangiomatosis to vanishing bone disease in young patients, CLIN RADIOL, 56(3), 2001, pp. 184-190
The application of cross-sectional imaging in the investigation of patients
with angiomatosis reveals that lymphangiomatosis and vanishing bone diseas
e should not be considered as separate entities, but rather as a spectrum o
f disease. We present a pictorial review of eight patients demonstrating th
e manifestations of soft tissue and bony involvement. We highlight a subgro
up of patients with chyloid pleural effusions who have a poor prognosis. (C
