Abstract
The application of cross-sectional imaging in the investigation of patients with angiomatosis reveals that lymphangiomatosis and vanishing bone diseas e should not be considered as separate entities, but rather as a spectrum o f disease. We present a pictorial review of eight patients demonstrating th e manifestations of soft tissue and bony involvement. We highlight a subgro up of patients with chyloid pleural effusions who have a poor prognosis. (C ) 2001 The Royal College of Radiologists.
