Abstract
More and more children born to lesbians through donor insemination are reaching an age where they want information on the donor, Knowing wha t to tell the child, much less how, when and why, is a complex process , This article addresses two critical factors to consider: the integri ty of the lesbian-headed family unit and how that differs from familie s headed by heterosexuals; and the integrity of the child, including h er/his biological self.
