Abstract
In the second part of this two part series* on 2.4GHz communications a comp lete radio solution far the ISM band is presented with a single chip BICMOS solution that demonstrates a high level of integration. The architecture a nd the function are described in detail. The performance of the resulting t ransceiver is evaluated for several wireless data and voice standards. Fina lly conclusions will be drawn in relation to the impact of size, cost and p erformance of mobile terminals.
