Abstract
The open-loop gain of a typical two-stage transistor voltage-feedback ampli
fier is put in the form of a ratio between its value in the absence of feed
back components and the product of two gain-degrading factors. Minimising t
his product results in maximising the open-loop gain, and the corresponding
algebra is much less laborious than the one in the paper referred to in th
e title.'
