Abstract
An extremely rare case of solitary fibrous tumor of the prostate is present ed. The patient underwent a radical retropubic prostatectomy and has remain ed well with no evidence of recurrence during the last 18 months. This is t he fifth reported case of such a lesion arising in the prostate.
