Abstract
Adsorption studies of benzenesulfonic acid; 3,3 ' ,3 " -phosphinidynetris-, trisodium salt (TPPTS); and di-(mu -tertiobutylthiolato) dicarbonyl, bis(b enzenesulfonic acid, 3,3 ' ,3 " -phosphinidynetris-, trisodium salt) dirhod ium ([Rh(mu -(SBu)-Bu-t)(CO)(TPPTS)](2)) from aqueous solutions on four dif ferent silica samples were carried out at 25 degreesC. The isotherms obtain ed were correlated by several models, among which Fowler's one was found to be the most satisfactory. The: solubilities of TPPTS and [Rh(mu -(SBu)-Bu- t)(CO)(TPPTS)](2) in water at four temperatures in the range (25-80) degree sC were also studied.
