Abstract
The maximum liquid drop volume (v(max)) is measured using a back-suction te chnique with a micrometer syringe piston. The residual amount of liquid on the tip was determined and the tension data calculated from the theoretical correction factors are well in accordance with those from the falling drop volume (vf) (C) 2001 Academic Press.
