Abstract
Volatile components of soursop were isolated by simultaneous steam distilla tion/solvent extraction and GC/MS analysis. Forty-one compounds were identi fied. The major volatiles were methyl 3-phenyl-2-propenoate, hexadecanoic a cid, methyl (E)-2-hexenoate and methyl 2-hydroxy-4-methyl valerate.
