A. Ruvolo et al., Annealing time and temperature effects on sorption properties of dichloromethane in hexafluorobisphenol-A-based polyesters, J MACR S PH, B40(1), 2001, pp. 29-39
The effects of thermal history on dichloromethane vapor sorption and transp
ort properties in two polyesters based on hexafluorobisphenol-A were studie
d. Films of the polyesters, aged at room temperature for 1 and 3 years, wer
e annealed at temperatures below and above the T-beta value of each sample
for different periods of time. Significant changes on the transport and sor
ption properties of the materials due to heat treatment were observed and a
re correlated to changes in density and free volume of the polymers.
