Abstract
Experimental and theoretical light scattering data, for a microscopic spher e placed behind a glass/air interface and illuminated with p-polarized radi ation, are compared. The intensity of light scattered from the sphere is me asured as a function of scattering angle and these results are compared wit h established theory. This system is of interest in the field of optical bi osensing.
