Abstract
The external Dorsal cherry limestones and breccias of Sinemurian-Plien sbachian age, that crop out near Tetouan, correspond to various facies , deposited by low, middle and high density turbidity currents and gra vity flows along carbonate slopes. They are closely related to early T ethyian rifting movements, which began in the Hettangian age and conti nued until the Toarcian-Aalenian.
