Abstract
We describe a new caprine form from the Upper Vallesian of La Roma 2 ( Teruel Basin, Aragon). Aragoral mudejar Gen.n., sp.n. is close to the primitive forms of the Hippotraginae-Caprinae group. It differs from N orbertia hellenica by its more primitive dentition, the greater separa tion between the bases of the horn cores, the decreased thickness of t he frontal bone and the relatively smaller size of the horn cores.
