Abstract
The solubility of hellyerite, NiCO3 . 6H(2)O, in water was studied at diffe rent temperatures. From the experimental data obtained, a preliminary set o f the thermodynamic quantities Delta (f)G(circle minus), Delta H-f(circle m inus), and S-circle minus for hellyerite was derived using the ChemSage opt imizer routine.
