A model for the calculation of heating of a blood vessel, which is modeled
by an infinite circular cylinder and located in the hypodermic layer, under
the action of laser radiation is proposed. Heating of such a vessel under
the action of radiation with wavelengths most often used for laser therapy
is calculated within the framework of the model proposed. The heating proce
ss is compared with the case of skin heating by laser radiation in the mult
